My house colour schemes are dark purples, black and whites as these are very bold colours and stand out, but also fit in well with my genere. Through photos and text, there is also alot of greens and greys in my magazine as well.

Authors note:
When I was told I was
to conduct an interview with new artist Kya Sole about her rise to fame and new
album ‘Paper Man’, I must admit I was a bit star struck. I’m an avid country
music fan and, as a young woman of 24, I just feel that she is so relatable in
both her music and her personality.
Interview:
When I was 22 I was
studying for a career in journalism, I can’t imagine what it would be like to
be a new multinational album selling artist, can you give me some insight?
Ha-ha, I’m not sure I’m the person to ask about music advice;
I’m not exactly the most up to date person when it comes to that. I was always
that child at school who was, like, ‘so behind on all the latest music trends’,
I was still into the wiggles when everyone else was rocking out to Metallica.
Well people obviously
agree with your music taste now though?
Yeah I guess, I don’t know why. I mean, yeah, obviously I believe
in the messages of my own music and think
it’s pretty cool, but I was pretty shocked when people both older and younger
than me started buying my records and coming up to me in the street asking for
my autograph.
Do you find that
harder now?
What? Walking down the street? Yeah I have no personal time
anymore, my personal time becomes everyone else’s business. I think I’m going
to be that artist that goes crazy because of fame… I’m going to be the next
Miley Cyrus, just not as slutty.
Do you think you would
have become a country musician if you had known this was going to be your
lifestyle now?
Of course, I love to make and share my music and I enjoy my
job… plus you have to admit it is lovely to be able to be financially stable
enough to buy that £200 pair of jeans you admired in the shop window as a girl!
So what inspired you
to become a musician?
My Mum, she spent her life trying to be the best mum she
could be, I barely saw her when I was younger [because] she had about three
jobs, one in the morning, one in the afternoon and one at night. She was a
single mum since she was 27 and I was totally inspired by her situation.
I’m Intrigued, would
you mind if I asked you to tell us about her?
Of course not. My Mum had my older brother, Kieran, when she
was 16, she was judged for it her whole life and her mother never fully forgave
her. It wasn’t her fault and she did her best besides the situation she was in.
she married my dad [the father of the baby] and then had my older sister
Maisie, me and was pregnant with my little sister May when my dad died aged 28.
So how did this
inspire you?
She worked so hard to provide for us and give us the best
life and it just made me realise that she was such an amazing woman but that
she wasn’t truly happy. It seems sad I know, but it made me realise I wanted to
spend my life doing something I loved for a job instead of working just because
I have to in order to keep my family together.
So, I have your new
album with me today
Haha, I was waiting for this to come up!
It’s called Paper Man,
is there a message behind this title?
It’s about living a life in order to earn money instead of
to live. I’m basically saying that whilst moneys nice you shouldn’t have it as
your main aim in life because effectively it wont keep you alive… besides the
obvious ways.
Well it was lovely
talking to you and it sucks that we have to leave it here.
Haha, you too, I hope we get to talk again.

This is the orignal image, I got this off of the internet (I did not take this picture myself)
This is the sort of picture that i would take for my fearture page as it is edgy (because you cant see the models face) but it is also eye catching and interesting to look at.
